The Role

Are you ready to create industry-leading change and accelerate your career?

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service and Stores Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Rubix UK. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of scope to make it your own. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, working closely with customers to deliver an exceptional level of service while identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth.

You’ll support customers in sourcing the right parts, spares, and tools, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll also manage site deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide essential stores cover as needed. If you're a team player with a strong customer service background—ideally in manufacturing, MRO, PPE, or a trade counter environment—we'd love to hear from you. Full training is provided, so don’t let a lack of sector experience stop you from applying.

There’s nothing more rewarding than supporting UK manufacturing—and we’ll give you the tools and support to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock, including booking in goods and conducting stock checks.
  • Handle deliveries to site and ensure timely receipt and processing of goods.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Oversee goods issue processes to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Generate and follow up on customer quotations.
  • Process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Track and manage back orders to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
  • Help consolidate the customer supply chain to Rubix by converting spare part requirements.
  • Provide cover and support to the team during staff absences, holidays, and peak periods.

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or stock/inventory management.
  • Background in MRO, manufacturing, PPE, or trade counter environments is a plus, but not essential.
  • Comfortable using stock and order management systems (training provided)

Rubix UK has a commitment to doing things differently for our colleagues and customers.

Today, Rubix Group is the clear market leader with a presence in 23 markets and sales of €3.15bn in 2023. Our customers include some of the biggest names in manufacturing, the SMEs that form the backbone of industry and everything in-between.
